When the renowned archaeologist Xurxo Ay\u00e1n described this remarkable State Room as “one of Spain’s most fascinating historical time capsules”, he did so in recognition of the extraordinary layers of history preserved within it.<\/p>

The walls bear the traces of the past century, telling a compelling story of industrialisation, innovation, economic growth, war, intrigue, post-war reconstruction, crisis, rebellion and modernity, all within just 181 square metres.<\/p>

As the only fully enclosed and habitable space within Punta Bego\u00f1a, the State Room once stood at the heart of the monument’s political, social and cultural life. Today, thanks to the careful restoration of its remarkable decorative features and rich materials, it has regained that central role. Concrete and marble, teak and plaster, limestone, paint and graffiti come together in a dramatic setting designed to leave a lasting impression. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
