In recent months, the restoration and enhancement project of Galer\u00edas Punta Bego\u00f1a has been filled with recognitions from various fields.<\/h5>\n

Recognitions in which what matters is that they look to the future, because they value the potential of Punta Bego\u00f1a<\/a> as a space of architectural and landscape value<\/strong>, but above all as a place for history, culture, art, social leisure or training<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Among them, at the end of Urtarrila, the Fundaci\u00f3n Punta Bego\u00f1a<\/a> received an invitation from Universidad Americana CLAEH<\/a> to develop two training proposals: one in cultural heritage and another in sustainable tourism<\/strong>, for the UCCI\u2019s official programme.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The UCCI, Union of Ibero-American Capital Cities<\/strong><\/a>, is an organisation that brings together Ibero-American institutions, universities and entities, to which it offers training activity based on city-to-city exchange, with great impact and aimed at professionals and institutional leaders<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Fundaci\u00f3n Punta Bego\u00f1a has developed the two training programmes<\/strong> based on international case studies of good practice<\/strong> across the Ibero-American sphere, including projects from Euskadi, innovative in the field of sustainable tourism and heritage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Alongside coordinating the content of the training proposals, Fundaci\u00f3n Punta Bego\u00f1a is also responsible for describing the key aspects of the Galer\u00edas project as a process of open restoration, the compatibility between works and social and cultural activity, the keys to sustainable tourism and the applications in heritage education that are made possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The training proposal promoted by CLAEH URUGUAY is currently in the process of programme development by the Union of Ibero-American Capital Cities, which has highlighted \u201cthe great expectation surrounding the excellent proposal work on HERITAGE MANAGEMENT, CULTURAL AND SOCIAL FUNCTION WITH RESPECT FOR THE MONUMENT\u201d<\/em>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
