This year, to mark its 50th anniversary, the Getxo association Etorkizuna Mendi Taldea is holding several of the activities that will make up its packed anniversary programme at Galerías Punta Begoña.
The exhibition, prepared by the EMMOA Foundation (Euskal Mendizaletasunaren Museo / Basque Mountaineering Museum), brings together “the most significant milestones in the history of Basque mountaineering, from its origins to the present day”.
The exhibition will be opened by the writer and EMMOA secretary, Antxon Iturriza, on 6 March at 6:00 PM, and will be open to the public until 23 March.
These kinds of activities enrich Punta Begoña’s programme and contribute to its social dimension throughout the restoration process.
