The original Punta Begoña project was built between 1918 and 1922 using construction techniques and engineering methods that were revolutionary for their time. A century later, the coordinated work of the project’s technical team is making it possible to deliver the most appropriate and effective conservation interventions.

We comply with:

UNESCO’s principles of respect, efficiency and sustainability for heritage conservation;
the principles of the European New Bauhaus for sustainable, inclusive and beautiful architecture;
the Davos Baukultur Quality System;
the international guidelines for heritage conservation and sustainable development set out in the New Urban Agenda and the European Green Deal.

This second phase of the project, now led by the Punta Begoña Foundation, is gradually bringing the restoration to life, with increasingly visible results both inside and outside the building.
