Literary talk
"Memory, a written heritage" by Elena Moreno

This Thursday, Ekaina 4, the Punta Begoña Galleries will host a talk by the Bilbao-born writer and journalist Elena Moreno Scheredre, on memory, heritage, and the writing process.

In an interview format with journalist Agustín Herranz, the author will reflect on the traces that remain in every literary work in the same way they do in heritage; or how intangible heritage forms an intrinsic part of them. All of this is woven together with her latest creation: the novel “Un bosque de álamos en Idaho” (A Forest of Poplars in Idaho). In it, the author gives voice to the conflicting emotions of the generations who experienced, from afar, the Civil War, the bombing of Gernika, and the historical events in the turbulent Europe of the 20th century. A great novel about Basque emigration to America.

The Punta Begoña hall will be the setting for this literary talk, open to the public until full capacity is reached.
