Since Easter, the Galerías Punta Begoña have become a true time machine.

Visitors to the monument can immerse themselves in situ, through their own mobile phone or tablet, and also through in-person explanations, in the most relevant moments in the history of this Getxo enclave, with impact on Bizkaia, Euskadi, and also at an international level.

The most advanced technologies have been used in the development process, combining virtual recreations, artificial intelligence, special effects, and cinematic aesthetics. The result: visualizations of Punta Begoña’s past in 360º format, introduced by short docufiction audiovisual pieces.

The project already shows its spectacular results, although during the first months it has been presented in a testing and improvement phase. Likewise, a next phase is being prepared, which, based on tested evaluation, will incorporate improvements and, of course, new historical moments.
