The European Heritage Days will bring together 70,000 activities across the continent in the coming weeks. Hundreds in Bizkaia, under this year’s theme “Where culture connects”. An open and participatory initiative that Punta Begoña wishes to join by hosting every Friday in October (between 10:00 and 13:00) a live radio program through which the galleries will be filled with heritage to be filled with life.
All branches of history, literature, theater, music, nature, travel or sport, told firsthand by personalities such as Joaquín Araujo, Paco Echevarría, Ana Vega Pérez de Arlucea, Ramón Barea, Gonzalo Arroita, Rita Lorite, Bárbara Cordero, Iñaki Basabe, Patxi Herranz, Maite Maguregui, Javier G. Iñañez, Elena Moreno, Luis Valdés, Armando Llamosas, Marta Uriarte, Uxue Castrillo, Lander Otaola, Jokin Aspuru, Lucía Janto… and hosted by Agustín Herranz, a figure with experience in hundreds of radio and television programs, with the collaboration of Radio Popular and the company of María Peraita, director of the Punta Begoña Foundation.
Music, theater, historic puppets, bertso… All of it live. And, in addition, there will be connections with the program “Thinking about heritage” from Uruguay and a streaming broadcast that will allow networks to be woven around the world.
Connecting heritage means knowing it, walking it, telling it and sharing it. It is the objective that defines the European Union and the one that marks our path in the restoration at Punta Begoña.
